    Andee (Dee) is an Emmy award-winning and BAFTA-nominated film producer.

    In 2020 Dee was an executive producer on the double Emmy award-winning documentary RISING PHOENIX. In 2018 Dee produced the double BAFTA-nominated documentary MCQUEEN. In 2016 Dee co-founded the London-based film production company MISFITS ENTERTAINMENT. In the same year, Dee produced her debut feature, ALLEYCATS. Dee produced her second feature, VIKING DESTINY, in 2018.

    Prior to this Dee accumulated extensive experience within the TV and film industry working on major Hollywood blockbusters, documentaries and multi returning documentary series aired on NAT GEO, DISCOVERY CHANNEL, HISTORY CHANNEL, PBS to name but a few.

    She also produced countless music videos, commercials and boasts a significant amount of experience as a VFX producer.

    Dee is the first transgender producer to be BAFTA-nominated. She is a filmmaker first and foremost and to produce the best creative work she believes in close working relationships and solid foundations.

    Anne’s first feature, QUINCEAÑERA, won several awards including the prestigious Audience Award and Grand Jury Prize at Sundance, Humanitas Prize and the John Cassavetes Award for Best Feature at the Independent Spirit Awards.

    Other credits include the recently released PAPER SPIDERS with Lili Taylor, the coming-of-age comedy MILES which stars Molly Shannon, Paul Reiser and Missi Pyle, STAGE MOTHER a comedy set against the backdrop of the drag queen world of San Francisco starring Lucy Liu, Jacki Weaver and Adrian Grenier and the action-comedy CHICK FIGHT with Alec Baldwin and Malin Akerman.

    On the TV side, she executive produced three series for Sony Pictures Television: Cleaners, The Oath and StartUp. She also produced the web series mI promise which won her a Daytime Emmy Award.

    Anne is currently in post-production on the feature AS SICK AS THEY MADE US, which was written and directed by Mayim Bialik and stars Dustin Hoffman, Candice Bergen, Simon Helberg and Dianna Agron. She is also in post on the Sony Pictures Television reboot of Fantasy Island which began airing on Fox this past August and in pre-production on season 2 of the series BMF which airs on Starz.

    She is a member of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

    Clay Epstein is the President and Owner of Film Mode Entertainment, a worldwide sales and distribution entity with a producer friendly initiative. The company has gained a significant market share in a competitive marketplace, with such films as HOOKING UP starring Brittany Snow and STAGE MOTHER starring Jacki Weaver and Lucy Liu. Upcoming releases include CHICK FIGHT starring Alec Baldwin and BREACH starring Bruce Willis. Film Mode also represents Screen Media’s 600 title library and has a first look deal with Bondit, a production and lending facility.

    Prior to Film Mode, Clay was SVP Sales & Acquisitions at Arclight Films. He was instrumental in acquiring and representing high profile films such as Paul Schrader’s DOG EAT DOG starring Nicolas Cage, and the Spirig brother’s PREDESTINATION starring Ethan Hawke. Earlier in his career, Clay represented prestigious titles such as TSOTSI (2006, Academy Award Winner for Best Foreign Language,) and THE LAST STATION (2010, Academy Award Nominee for Best Performance by an Actress.) Clay earned a BA in Fine Arts, from California State University, Northridge majoring in Film Production and minoring in Italian Language.

    Clay is an Executive Producer, an instructor at UCLA Extension, and a frequent lecturer at film festivals worldwide. He is the Chairperson of Independent Film & Television Alliance, a member of IDA, FIND, BAFTA LA, PGA and the Australian Academy Cinema Television Arts.
