Georgina Gonzalez currently serves as Director of Development in the SPLATAM team at Gaumont Television, which produces hit shows such as “Narcos,” “El Presidente,” “Arsène Lupin,” & “Barbarians.” She previously launched the development department for the new production studio at Cinépolis, the second-largest theater chain worldwide, shepherding various films into production. She started her career at Fox, Universal, MGM and the Univision-Netflix joint venture, Story House Entertainment, on series such as the worldwide success “El Chapo,” and the critically acclaimed “Tijuana”. In parallel, through her production company, Off-Hollywood Films, she produced movies such as "The Reports on Sarah & Saleem," (International Film Festival Rotterdam 2018 audience and jury awards), "Finding the Werewolf," (PGA Diversity master class and IFP fellow 2018), "Sanctorum,” (Venice International Film Festival closing film 2019), “Martinez,” (Torino and Berlinale labs, Tribeca and AFS fund winner 2018), "Midday Cowboy," (Mexican Academy Award nomination for best feature documentary 2020, now on Netflix), amongst others. She graduated from CUEC-UNAM & USC's Peter Stark film producing program as a Fulbright, FONCA & HBO scholar.
